Combined Funeral / Death Notice

Better known as “SYD or Menzies”. Lately of Maidenwell, Qld and formerly of Boggabri.

Passed away 15th January, 2023, aged 72 years.

Beloved son of Sydney (Dec’d) and Aimee (Dec’d).

Much loved father of Gary, Rikki, Paul and Sharna.

Cherished Pop of sixteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Loved brother of eleven siblings. Adored uncle of many nieces and nephews.

The relatives and friends of the late Sydney Ronald Merritt are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service which will be held at Boggabri Catholic Church with the service commencing at 11am on Friday 27th January, 2023, thence for burial in the Boggabri Cemetery.

Ex-servicemen are requested to attend the funeral of their late comrade with medals to be worn.
